The British Are Going! The British Are Going! Edition
Todays links of interest:
- Agreement on burial of James Brown
It’s about damn time, no? Also, James is doing fine, according to a guy who checks him "constantly." Ew. - Britney’s Rehab Redux
Her manager asks that the press "respect her privacy." The privacy of a woman who just very publicly got her fracking hair shaved this last weekend. How ’bout just staying there and quietly leaving when you get your shit together? - Viacom lands video deal with Joost
This is getting interesting. However, it probably is not enough to make Joost a household word or a serious rival to YouTube. But it might put them on the radar, depending on how seriously Viacom promotes this content. - Sirius-XM deal could be boon for consumers
Agreed. At least one ‘Loper has been waiting for this to happen. Also, as far as Satellite competing with the iPod, it probably never be able to do that. What will distinguish Satellite is things like Howard Stern and out-of-market sports for those of us who want such things. - Film of U.S. President Kennedy Moments Before Death Is Released
Kinda cool; kinda creepy. Imagine anybody these days sitting on something with such historical import for over 40 years.

The truth is we’re all waiting for JB’s resurrection. It should come on the 60th day. Then the world will know that James Brown is the true messiah.
