This is the WGA site about the strike. One of the incredibly smart things that they are doing is filming videos with people from shows like The Office and Lost discussing why they are on strike. - Veronica Mars DVD Extra: Pitching Season Four – Episode Recap
Sigh. Were totally skeptical about the whole Veronica Mars Season 4 pitch — until we saw this DVD Extra. It maybe coulda worked. That is had they been able to stay away from the "CSI-meets-Gray’s Anatomy" path that the CW would have wanted them to go down. Right now, you should do yourself a favor and get ahold of a DVD of the first season, which is still a thousand kinds of awesome. - Did anyone sign off on the racy Hitman movie poster with Olga Kurylenko?
The answer is yes, pretty much everyone did. It’s always awesome when something like this gets past all of the censors. Still, nothing will ever top the infamous Little Mermaid video cover. Thanks Disney, for that!! - In Finland shooting, fallout for YouTube?
There is no way that YouTube could have policed this type of thing, but that won’t really matter to those who want to blame it, rather than looking at the real causes. - Asterisk, asterisk, who has an asterisk?
Sigh. People who want asterisks attached to records are idiots. Even Hall of Famers. And they always seem to have personal agendas disguised as "what’s good for the sport" - Judge Orders Spears to Pay Federline’s Legal Bill
Why not? She’s paid all of his other ones, too. - Facebook Unveils Ad Targeting Program
While we have no issue whatsoever with Facebook trying to monetize their traffic, this seems kinda evil. - Microsoft aims to make Xbox more family-friendly
The first step is to rename it to PG-13box. - Most Fans Paid %%title%% for Radiohead Album
Possibly the most interesting thing about the perpetuation of this study is the lack of hard evidence. A survey was done, the actual figures weren’t released, and the band hasn’t said the conclusions were accurate. Still, you gotta give the people something good to read.
