  You’re not going to find a better deconstruction / recap of "The Wire’s" final episode than in Alan Sepinwall’s blog. Was it the greatest drama in TV history? Or is trying to prove it was better (or worse) than "The Sopranos" and "Deadwood" — its major competition — a sucker’s game? What a gift we were given with these three shows over the past decade!!! And now what?

  Wait! This still hasn’t happened yet?!? We were sure that it had, since it seems like every month there are reports saying that the deal is imminent. Like this one. Something better happen soon, or "Beatles on iTunes" is going to be come a "Chinese Democracy"-style punchline.

• The WB to be revived with new site
  Let’s just say that the word "Everwood" in this story made one of your ‘Lopers very very happy. Let’s just hope that the commercials aren’t too intrusive.
• Dextre the robot ready for space adventure
  Apparently, he’s been programmed to kill other space robots who are murderers.
• Thoughts on the ‘Wire’ finale?
  Sour grapes from the Baltimore Sun. Shit got personal.
• They Criticized Vista. And They Should Know.
  The truth is that Vista doesn’t run on a whole lot of machines (including those that are certified for Vista) and Microsoft has known this for a while. Our only problem with this story is that this has turned into a class action lawsuit and lawyers are the only one who will benefit from this action. In the meantime, avoid Vista if at all possible.
