  • Music publishers: iTunes not paying fair share
    So much to parse in this article: first, music people want to be paid by Apple for songs in downloaded media (which, you know, is part of the license agreement they’ve negotiated with the producer of movie or television show, so it’s like they’re making up a new revenue stream). Then they want to be paid when people sample a song. Oh, and it’s going to require an act of Congress instead of old fashioned negotiation to reach a deal.
  • FCC ‘Net Neutrality’ Rules Expected to Advance on Vote
    If this comes to pass, it will be government done right. We approve.
