Some Random Thoughts While Watching Galavision’s Evening Rebroadcast of the World Cup Match between Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago
My High School Spanish sucks. I can’t recognize a word they are saying, except for “buena pelota.” And, apparently, it has become de riguer for all of the Galavision announcers to do the whole GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLL! thing, not just Andres Cantor. And why not? It’s the best call in all of sports, so who wouldn’t want to do it? However, last night there was this: “GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!! GOOOOOOOOOOL– offsides.” Ooops. However, another word I recognize!
Also, the Galavision announcers seem to be having much more fun — lots of laughter in their voices, even if they are probably describing substitution strategy. But they clearly love the game, and they clearly love their assignment. Almost makes me wish I had an ENG button on my remote.
Why isn’t ESPN doing this? These nightly rebroadcasts for those of us who had to work? In 2004, NBCU had a whole HD Channel dedicated to the Summer Olympics. It sucked ass, but they were way better with this year’s Winter Olympics. But the World Cup is way more important, so ESPN should have launched ESPN 3, dedicated to round the clock broadcasts of the Cup.

Some Thoughts at random Whereas Sight afternoon Rebroadcast de Galavision of phosphorus of the Glass of the World Between Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago
My Spanish of the High secondary School aspires. I cannot recognize a word that is saying, with the exception of “ball of the good one.” And, apparently, it has of turned to riguer for all the announcers of Galavision to make the GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLL whole! thing, not just of Andres Cantor. And why no? It is the best call of all the sports, so who would not wish to do it? Nevertheless, at night he was this one there yesterday: “GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL! GOOOOOOOOOOL – offsides.” Ooops. Nevertheless, another word that I recognize!
Also, the announcers of Galavision look like to have much more diversion – portions of the laughter in their voices, even if they are probably describing strategy of the substitution. But they love the game clearly, and they love clearly his allocation. He almost does desire to me that had an ENGLISH button in my telecontrol.
For which ESPN is not doing this? These every night rebroadcasts for those of us whom they had to work? In 2004, NBCU had a whole channel of HD dedicated to the Olympic Games of the summer. It inhaled the ass, but they were better way with the Olympic Games relative to this year of the winter. Hehe. You said “inhaled the ass”.
