That, right there, is a monster, titanic hook. It was a titanic hook back in the 1960s (so much so that even Pete Townshend tossed some “shoop shoops” into “La La Lies” on the first Who album), and lord knows it’s about time for Taylor Swift to use it somewhere.

In any event, Bananarama’s girl group singing over a slinky but organic-sounding beat (and a lyric to which I could relate), has always just killed me.
